The Town of Cottage Grove allows open burning by permit only. Before you can register your open burn, you must have a valid annual permit, which may be obtained at the Town Hall or from the Town's web site. Once you have your permit, you may use this form to give the required 48 hours of notice before your open burn. You will then have a 3 day window in which to burn. Please remember that it is illegal to burn garbage, tires, or any building, and be aware of wind direction in consideration of your neighbors.
